AFS presentation from an SHFCA event last week

AFS recently attended a Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA) event, (The SHFCA promotes and develops Scottish expertise in fuel cells and hydrogen technologies.)

AFS made a strong case to Scottish government officials and others as to how their energy strategy can be strengthened and enhanced with AFS as a partner. Take a look at the presentation delivered by our CEO, Peter, below:

AFS at the Autosport International Car Show

Last week saw the AFS team visit the AutoSport International Sports Car Show, where our CEO, Peter Harrison shared the main stage with Quimera’s Javier de Rocafort.

Peter and Javier were interviewed on stage, where they discussed the excitement around the green motor racing industry, and how this industry has become the testing ground for new, green technologies to be developed for other areas of the automotive industry.

Quimera have developed a lightweight, 780kg sports car powered by a 2.0-litre compression engine producing 450bhp, and capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in just 2.6 seconds.

Peter said of the AFS and Quimera partnership "Carbon neutral racing fuels from Air Fuel Synthesis combined with Quimera's innovative approach to motorsports will accelerate progress towards a more sustainable future for all aspects of motoring and motor racing."

At the event, the AFS team met with many industry professionals who expressed an interest in our technology and fuels.

Yesterday AFS attended and were interviewed at the Autosport International Racing Car Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

AFS continue to gain press interest and our Chief Executive Peter Harrison was recently interviewed by international Bloomberg Television. Tom Gibson from Bloomberg reported on the Air Fuels Synthesis process producing gasoline out of thin air.
